For me, giving plasma is so incredibly simple, yet such an important way to support lifesaving efforts in my community and at the same time I can earn extra cash.

Heather, not sure of the last name, is the manager. She is an extremely young white woman! With an non-american attitude towards \_Blacks\_ when it comes 2 the 1st amendment. Because if you are \_Black\_. _ If the other person is a \_White\_ woman in the lobby _ goes off on you be- cause she doesn't like a \_Black\_ person saying the words \_White people\_ _ she goes off on you!!! _ then the \_White\_ woman complains about you 2 Heather. Heather will tell you what words you can use or not use!!! _ if you disagree with her. She will defer you just because she can. Which will \_STOP\_ you from donating plasma any where else! So, if you want your 1st amendment rights taken away from you go there!!!!!! As 4 me, I am going 2 sue Heather _ Bio-Medics 4 Defamation!!! ;-)

It is ghetto there you have to wait up to 2 to 3 hours just to get your name called and half the workers up there don't know how to stick you.people smell its dirty and loud.I think no one should waste there time going here....

This place was so ghetto! The loby smelled like \_weed\_, the receptionist was flirting with a doner, and the people waiting looked hungover and smelled of body odor. I felt like a pig going to the slaughter. Do not go. I did not donate! This is my honest opinion. I'd rather go to the nicer ones in orange county.

Don't bother with this place. It's always crowded, it's in a bad area, and it's very difficult to even make an appointment. I really wish there were more places in the LA area that paid for plasma. The only reason why I even bothered with this place is because it's hard to find a job right now!

I'm a donor since March and reason being is because of the money. From this date they are currently letting us donate 2 times a week. You will get on your first time in that week 25 dollars and on the second donation of the week you will get 30 dollars. That being said people, on your 5th donation of the month you will get an extra 5 dollars for donating. It gets better than that. On Your 8 donation of the month you will have your name put in a drawing with everybody else and there is a pot of 500 dollars split between 10 donors. That sounds like a gamble; a good one, you only pay your time of chancing yourself to win. The overall place is fine, but today I'm guessing they are being strict about appointments. I always have my appointments at 8:15am and I am only let inside a half hour before then. Don't bother coming early or late. They have flat screen Tv's and they are barely taking the liberty of not playing the same movies over and over again which is a good thing. Nice staff and some attractive ones too. Managers are nice and polite. I'm a pain and if they can stand me they can stand you. This is the best way to get money for gas, groceries, cigarettes, milk, condoms, and many more goodies. Well if you have considered this fast pace plasma place at your one stop money pick up, then your at the right place. The time is takes for a single unit to be done is about 45 minutes which is way fast. It goes fast if you have you mind off the clock and into your book or movie or even your mind. Well, you should be happy with this update and now you can pick up the phone right now and dial: 323 586-0100 and they will ask you if you are a new donor and want to make an appointment. This is the important thing that you must do also. The name you see up there you must right it done on the paper that you used to remember the appointment with. Once you go in the donor place they will give you a chart to fill out and there will be an area for a reference. Put in that area what you wrote on your memo note: Joshua Fountain. I'm your reference and no one else. Why? Because the days you will see me on monday and thursday on my 8:15am appointment will be one of those days where I give you 10 dollars for being referred by you. See I get 20 dollars for be referred by you and I split it with you once you donate twice. Just email me once you donated twice so you can make your third appointments on my days so I can give you half of what my kind heart is offering you. Thanks, Joshua Fountain ps Don't forget that name; Joshua Fountain

They are now PCCI (a subsidiary of Grifols). For the first two visits, they pay $30 and $40 respectively and every week after, they pay $30 for the first and $25 for the second visit (yes that sounds backwards, but I asked him to double verify that for me, so it is either strange but true, or the guy answering the phones was really new). They operate by appt only. 6a-2p Again, I have not been there, but did call to get this info firsthand.

The service is marginal at best. I waited three hours before they even called me when I arrived on time for my appointment. Five plus hours later, I finally left the center after donating the plasma.

Bio-Medics sold this and 3 other facilities to PCCI, which is owned by Biomat/Grifols. don't know if the locations still exist as they don't show up on Biomat or Grifols websites and there is no PCCI website. maybe someone who has been there can comment.
