| Comments: I_ve donated at other clinics in other states before, and this clinic is pretty good compared to them.
My first donation took a while, 3 hours in the door to leaving. They ask you a range of questions, perform a physical, and then if you pass, you can donate.
At this time, the highest weight class gets $25, $30 for their visits.
All in all, the staff has been pretty friendly. |

| Comments: No, you don_t have to put up with it. File complaints with the Better Business Bureau. |

| Comments: Just FYI, when you donate BLOOD the blood goes to patients in need, when you SELL PLASMA, the plasma is used for pharmaceutical research, it does NOT got to people in need. |

| Comments: I was recently told I can never donate again because the lady who used to be the nurse there screwed up when charting my ear piercings a few years back. it had been 3 years since my last donation and now because of her, I am banned for life. The center also lied to me and told me there was no website or any way to contact anyone of higher power. This is rediculous. |

| Comments: I went into there, and they had me fill out the forms, do the quiz, pee in the cup, check my veins, etc etc., and they said that i couldn_t donate because i had a \_funky smell\_... which is a bunch of crap, because i was clean. i did a LOT of precaution that day. lol. and they said the cuts on my arms from five years ago meant i was permanently banned from their plasma center. to be honest, i smelt some people there.. (not intentionally), and they stunk horribly!! it was disgusting. i could not believe that they were discriminating against me. or at least, that_s how i felt. my boyfriend couldn_t donate, because they said that his \_veins weren_t big enough\_ but they never even looked. they asked if he was there before, and he said yes, but they couldn_t find a vein. then they said \_well, if you don_t have veins, then you don_t have veins.\_ in my honest opinion, i think they were making up excuses to NOT pay someone $40 dollars or whatever. i was really upset by their ways of treating someone. |

| Comments: Sat. was my first visit which took about 2 1/2 hours which I was told it would take up to 4 hours because of the physical.Everyone that I talked to were friendly, peoplle need to realize that they are buisy and have a number of people go through there each day, they may not have time to just sit and chit chat with you. 3 hours a week to get paid to do a great thing for others is an awsome thing, I will be going twice a week every week! I just pray that if me or anyone in my family is ever in need, there will be people willing to donate their time. |

| Comments: Why/how does weight determine how much you are compensated ? Do they pay you more if you weigh more / less if you weigh less? Help me understand how this works...thanks |

| Comments: When I called, they said they pay $30 and $35, for the first two visits, and after that it depends on weight, for example if you weigh between 150 and 174 they pay $25 for the first visit each week and $30 for the second. They only do walk-ins, no appointments :-(
I haven_t been there. |

| Comments: Today was my first time donating plasma. The staff was very friendly and well educated. I got sick at the end and they handled the situation very quickly. The staff_s playful banter made the time go by faster. If you like saving lives and making money give it a try. |

| Comments: My first visit to this location was 2/08. After reading the comments I was hesitant. I was anxious to post my comments and say how great the staff is! They were efficient and highly skilled.
Great job! |

| Comments: I just have a quick question? How much do they pay you on your first time and after that? |

| Comments: For the most part the process of donation is bearable. The employees can be a little more professional. But as a whole the staff members are quite friendly |
Donor: Amanda Date: 2007-08-28 Rating: |
| Comments: The staff is very rude, their directions are unclear and they often leave the donors unattended. During my first time giving plasma, they left me unattended. The saline that was suppose to go into my vein ended up in my arm, causing it to swell to about twice it_s normal size. Too bad there_s no other place to donate near Muskegon. |

| Comments: As the only real option in Muskegon for selling plasma i guess you take what you can get for the money. The personnel are a bit improfessional and make the experience more uncomfortable by their attitudes than seems necessary. On the whole, most, especially the senior employee_s are unfriendly. But like i said, if you need the cash, you put up with it. |
