| Yesterday was my first donation and honestly I thought it was going to be a nightmare I got married so my name on my SS card and the name on my driver_s license didn_t match so I was told I needed my marriage license. Went home grabbed that and my old id because I was not givi g them another reason to turn me away. Once all my paperwork was complete I waited for the physical and all the questions to get finished then was taken back to the donation area first person that attempted to get my vein was to nervous so got another person she missed and proceeded to tell me she was going to give me a one mo the deferal because she messed up not hitting the vein. Luckly another tech came over and started one in my other arm. My point is I do want to help someone if I can but I also really needed that money between paychecks and having all my bills due at one I did t know what I was going to do to feed myself and my husband had they turned me away I_m so greatful to Terry she was amazing and to be honest had she not been there I prolly would have left without being able to donate but I got to help someone as well as make ends meet with the money I made from it. I_m giving them a 5 becauae Terry was awesome nice kind and polite and well most of the other staff was really good to me as well except for the one tech that messed up on the first vein and the woman who made me go get more identification and honestly it was not her fault I just wish they gave u more information on what u need to bring. Thank u very much looking forward to my next donation |

| i have been donating for three years at the Walker facility. I enjoy donating at the center. The employees are always curtious and so friendly. |

| I used to donate at this location for years but have since stopped because I started my family. Recently I returned to Biolife only to be turned away because I was never told that I needed to bring my marraige license in with me. So, I rescheduled which took another week. When I was allowed back, I was left to wait while they all talked about me while I was still sitting there because no one could remember if they had started a new folder for me. One hour later, I was told by the nurse that I had to have some papers signed by my doctor. Another week later, papers signed and in hand, they informed me that I had to go through the whole physical process again and they wouldn_t schedule it over the phone. I have to come back there in person on the next Monday morning. Honestly, if you don_t really really need the money, this place is not worth your time. The people there are bitter and angry and seem to hate being there and do everything that they can to discourage you from coming back. I honestly don_t want them to stick a needle in my arm. |
