This center has come along way over the last year or so. The service is excellent, the staff are generally happy, and let you know if the wait will be longer than normal. I have been donating plasma off and on for 10+ years, have seen the good times and the bad times, but they work hard to give you a good experience. I would recommend donating to anyone, especially at this center. Great Job

This plasma center is the absolute worst one in Utah. Their customer service is straight terrible. They took 5 hours for the first visit and 2-3 every visit there after. The employees running the desk are rude and more worried about their dumbass dating stories and drama. This place is a complete waste of time. DO NOT go to this location.

I_ve been donating for years and this is the first time I_ve reviewed anything. I have seen the good times and the bad times at biomat. Over the last couple years things have gotten much better. The staff are constantly getting better and the wait times are going down. I recently had my physical done and the boy that did it was so cute and made the physical fun despite the wait and apologized for the wait because he was so busy. I thoroughly my experiences at biomat and would recommend it hands down.

They really do take our safety serious and the safety of others who receive our plasma as well. So donating good safe plasma is always a high priority with the pre-donation screening process and that makes me personally feel reassured that I_m in good hands here as are others.

Some of the people that work here are very rude! I know of more than one person who has worked there, but quit because of the rudeness of some of the employees. As a general rule, they could care less about there doners here. When going there, I was constantly harassed and treated rudely for not coming earlier. I would not recommend going to the Clearfield biomat. They have no gratitude for the doners that pay their wages.

In all I think it depends on who you get serving you there on all stations. Generally the try to get us through quickly and I find that more often than not, people are friendly, though there are the occasional ones that have just had a long day. The phlebotomists do a good job. Some times the processing and pay out at the end can be a little slow, sometimes not. Not much different from my experiences at BioLife.

They were very rude and uptight. While I was late to my appointment by less than 10 minutes, I DID call ahead and told them I_d be late. They also give only $20 per donation.

The first time I went they didn_t see my plasma _ blood was mixing together they left me hooked up 45 minutes b4 noticing. I got sick and couldn_t come back for 7 weeks. Then they degrees me 4 life because. They document 1of my 20 ye. Old ear piercings on 1st physical. So they screw up my blood _ degrees for incompetence.

I have been donating Plasma for over 20 years. I first donated at Biomat 6 Years ago. I stopped for almost 3 years. I recently tried to donate and was regected due too two Rice sized tattoos that had been overlooked in the past. I have had these \_tattoos\_ for more than 25 years. Because these tattoos had not been seen before they regected me from donating Plasma in the US for life. This just seems so stupid to me. What happend to ppl using common sense. Biomat and the ppl that work there(spec. the Dr that was in that day) don_t care about their customers and lack common sense. Btw I had to come back twice to be told this once because they didn_t have my paperwork on site and again to be unfairly regected wasting 4 hours of my time.

I would like anyone with a disability , or you know someone with a disability to know that the site will not allow you donate if you are a parapelegic. Not because you are unable but because you can nor stand on your own to get on a scale for your weight for 30 sec. ! even if you have help from an aide they will discriminate against you. keep this in mind we are good enough to help with organs , blood and body parts but to get compensated for plasma we are not allowed.

i reallythink that they need to bring back the old pay 25 and 35 for as long as you wait its only fair .they make way to much off our plasma they can deffently afford the pay raise !! then it wouldnt be so bad thinking about the wait oh and maybee have some sound on the tvs or maybee treat the people that have donated there longer than a year to better pay .

Overall, I felt like my experience here could have been much better. I feel like the whole process is really disorganized. Why do they have to call you back 3 separate times before you even get to go donate? I thought the actual phlebotomists were excellent though. They take their job seriously and I was pleased at how quickly they were able to get me started. I just feel like to process leading up to the actual donating was quite tedious and unnecessarily complicated. It_s a LONG wait.

I found this center is improving with the expansion. Need to post the pay out for all the donation programs. Like Hepatitis b program and tetanus. I hear there is good money in hep b program. I started the shots will update asap. Need to build another center in Roy or Riverdale .

Holy crap it stinks in there!!! Seriously contracted a case of coodies! Oh yeah and the service sucks! The screeners are in no hury what so ever to get you in and out. They are there for the whole day so they dont give a crap about your schedule. Tip: Go at the end of the day, then they actually try to get you out of there!

I am still irritated and I didn_t even get my physical finished. They tell me to eat before I donate, so I do, but the tech tells me I need to eat more so go eat a _McDonald_s Hamburger._ I take a walk before I realize I really cannot eat anymore, come back to let the tech know that eating will only stuff me, she calls for a \_nutritionist?\_ who_s says that shredded wheat is fine (high in Carbs + Protein) and I am good, but then another tech/nutritionist comes and wants me to eat eggs and bacon before I donate!?! My question: If Plasma is 80% water, then when did protein and saturated fat become so important in donating? They want me to keep my energy up so I ate over 500 Calories in complex carbohydrates and over 180% my iron (based on a 2k Cal diet), but the techs insist I eat McDonald_s. I hope this isn_t too harsh, but I am seriously considering traveling well out of my way to see if another center is more professional.

I found the initial screening and physical to be a very long and tedious process. This I can understand due to volume, but my big complaint was the kid Austin who used his phone to text message the whole time he was trying to read a flip chart to the three donors stuffed in a small room. At least show some common courtesy and leave the phone in your pocket while dealing with patients. Not so sure I am going to go back to this specific location after this incident.

I usually get there by 7:30a.m. and am around 2 or 3 on election day there were about 20 people ahead of me a bit much to wait for. I really wish they opened at 6a.m. and began screening. My only problem is there is a sign stating once you sign in you must stay in the building, that is not inforced at all. they really need to pay attention I get there an hour early I wouldn_t mind going back to my car but thats not fair to the people who obey the rules.

I think it just takes to long to donate at this center I would donate more often but it seems like they dont have enough screeners to get you back to the floor. I waited 2 hours to get back to the floor :(

I went to this place earlier today, everyone was really friendly and did a great job. The only downside to it was that it took quite a while. This place seems to get quite busy.
