This place has been nothing but great. The staff is very considerable and caring, always asking how everything is going throughout the process. Grant it, some may be nervous about the 18GA (I believe) needle and what not, yet the staff does everything to help. I have donated here a few times, and had nothing but positive minded and hard working individuals exemplifying themselves to their best abilities here.

I have donated at both places in Duluth in the past and can honestly say that while both are about the same on their time frames I prefer ZLB now CSL because they are willing to literally walk you through the entire process and help you in any and all ways possible to make the experience as swift and comfortable as possible. I_d like to add that I_m one of the many people whose veins aren_t the easiest to hit but they make sure that they hit them upon insertion of the needle and don_t just dig around with the needle inside you till they puncture the vein

Good place to donate at.Quick check in time, efficent workforce. The whole process usally takes an hour and a half. The downside you gotta pay for parking during the day and pay a fee with the card you get and that saline solution makes me poop.

I found the people at ZLB VERY friendly. They answer all my questions. They verify my identity every time. I hardly feel the needle when they put it in. They even have awards in addition to the money for frequent donors. Many of the staff are EXTREMELY professional.

I donated here for the first time about a week and a half ago. I was nervous at first, in part because of how new the experience would be, and also because I_ve heard mixed things about donating. However, in the time I have donated - twice now - I_ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff of this center. I got sick the last time I donated and they took care of me completely. I will not donate at any other place and will happily continue to visit this center and their compitent staff.

If you have a problem with ZLB then go to DCI Mr. \_I want my insertion point covered\_ Guess what happens when you do that? You get an infiltration the size of the gauze before ANYONE notices it because they cant see it and a bruise all the way up and down your arm. Needles arn_t covered to protect the donor. ZLB is an amazing place and their techniques and staff are truly the cream of the crop when it comes to plasma services.

ok, the guy ranting about the place and fake smiles, i don_t think so. my first time there was a great experience, everything went really smooth and the people were great to me. i don_t mind not having the insertion area covered and if you listened to them, they said you could wash the iodine off after you take the bandage off, i_m sure they don_t wash it off right then and there because they don_t want to irritate the area.

to the person complaining about not having his area covered. Alot of people (like myself) don_t mind that...so when you want it covered...why don_t you...I don_t know? ASK for it to be covered. I have had nothing but good experiences at ZLB plasma and they are really nice people.

Though ZLB compensates well, their smiles are fake and forced, and every corner they cut legitimate, but bothersome. I would like my insertion area covered during our little transaction, and a crew of pokers/stabbers that have been at it all day with the crowds ZLB gets must get tired, dangerous.
In conclusion, it would be nice if ZLB increased its workforces, covered the needle-entry, and wiped some of that damn iodine off when i walked out. Yes, the saline solution is nice.
