I am very dissatified with Carter Blood Care. I went today to donate for a friend that is having surgery on Monday. The Carter bus was at the Crossroads Mall. I was in Greenville on business and was going to donate at 2:00pm (the advertised time). I showed up at 1:30pm in hopes that I could donate early. Not only could i not donate early, I waited until 2:40 for the bus to start taking donations. The reason, the bus was not in the temp range. I realize that it is exceptionally hot outside. Thus the reason to prepare earlier. I waited over an hour to donate but I eventually had to leave. I talked with 5 others there to donate that left also. Donateing blood is something that we do not have to do. Blood services advertise often about the blood shortages. Perhaps Carter could be better prepared for those who want to give. I am a blood donor in my home town. Just thought that you should know. |
