Regarding the U of I student who donated at CBSI...this location is strictly for volunteer blood donation only, they do not pay for blood donations. The staff is great! And yes the facility is a little older, but they have been giving blood to area hospitals for many years and do not make money from donated blood.

Blood center does not pay donors. Only accepts volunteer blood donors who will give to local hospital patients. The other posting mentioned making money after giving...? No money is ever given to donors at this center.

Close to the university of IL and great for students and teachers...it seemed like everyone was reading while donating :) ...and actually there was a cute girl I met there! Overall the money for classes I made was great and I will go back. Just wondering if they could clean the floor better...I saw so many marks from other donors shoes or something.
