I worked for this center for 8 years. I can honestly say that I have never worked for a less professional place. The staff is poorly trained and most of the time poorly picked. If donors knew the truth about the training process they wouldn_t want half of the staff there coming near them with a needle. I hear they are on their last legs now. Word to the wise, go downtown.

The people here were rude and unprofessional. I have never been to a plasma center and it took 5 hours before I could even try to get a physical done. When I got back there for a physical she kept talking and talking and I just gave up. Never got to donate. She got in my face and I told her to get out my face and she looked at the other workers like she wanted the police called. Oh my gosh I will never ever recommend them to anyone

I just had to say something about a few of the comments that are on here. For those of you that are on her being bitter about \_mot getting hired\_ get a LIFE!!! Just cause you put in an application doesn_t mean you get hired. If you don_t like the center and the people don_t donate there. No one is keeping you hostage or dragging you in there. I like the people, even the manager. She was very nice, and carried herself well. You other people are just bitter with nothing better to do.

I just started donating and I was so scared but the staff really put me at ease. They_re very friendly and I don_t feel jittery about going now. Thanks DCI!

I have been donating for a few months and have usually been satisfied. The nurses are nice and attentive (I have not experienced pain from inserting the needle or otherwise). However, last time I went to donate I stepped on the scale which balanced out to 175 lbs which implies I was to receive full compensation (175+ =_ $35, 174- =_ _= $25). After donating I found that 174 was written on my chart so I was to receive only $25. Giving the staff the benefit of the doubt I proposed that I would step on the scale holding the bottle of plasma to which they agreed would show what I originally weighed however they denied my proposal and would not see what I weighed and would not compensate me for the additional $10 I rightfully deserved.

I have been going to DCI for about 6 months off and on. I find most employees are efficient, friendly and professional. The only shortcoming I see is lack of space for them to do there job.

I donate at DCI and have to say it_s a great place. The staff is cool and they do their job well. Wait times can get a little long depending on the day but it isn_t too bad. Their waiting room has couches and chairs with a pair of TV_s going. Those other 1 star rating are obviously personal grudges. Do not hesitate to donate at DCI, they pay well and they get the job done. Thanks DCI!

I have reviewed the process that DCI staff adhere to, and i have concluded that while they get the job done they are certainly not the most competent or welcoming employees. The waiting room is cruddy and all together it is hard to feel even the least bit of comfort while sitting in there. The employees are not trained specifically to regulations and seem only to use shortcuts. It is a disgusting display of poor employee attitude, and they should definetly look into how their receptionists are trained. I mean, what rude people! Be happy you have a decent job.

I have been donating at this plasma center for years and i have never seen any sign of incompetence. The rude letter that was written was not at all true and i believe it should be removed from this site.

I am a donor at dci plasma. I Found It to Very slanderous of the person who put such remarks about the manager on a world wide net.The person Does not have all of his or her facts about What goes on in the establishment or they would have never wrote such harmful words of disbelief. I'm very pleased with the staff of dci plasma. For all who read this disregard those unbelievable words

I am commenting back to the comment that was posted. I am an employee and believe that whoever left the comment really has no idea of what they are talking about!! Our center is a wonderful place to come and donate and Karen is NOT incompetent in her job. All employees of DCI do know how to do their jobs and are well qualified to perform their duties.

Please be advised that the previous comment sounds more like someone with a vengeance towards Karen then anything else.

I am a former donor at Dci in duluth. The manager there is the most incompetent person I have ever delt with. Most of the staff don_t know their job descriptions nor how to do their jobs in the most efficient manner. The manager there, Karen, should be replaced. Let someone who knows what they are doing step up and you MIGHT be able to save your company!!
