| Began going to the Newport News,Va location about 2 mos. ago and have yet to donate due to continuous finding of ear rupture issue however,it has been determine by 2 outside Doctors to not exist and i wait another 2 to 3 weeks to return they take me through the same procedure of waiting then nurse SH examine me im given the same response the ear thing again this time i even gave a note from a qualified Doctor noting there was no problem seen with the ear was told there Doctor would review document and there only come in on thursday again i am sent walking out the door wandering if i should return again so much for the giving a complete turn off poor service. |

| Called this center and told them I wanted to come in....Did not tell me I needed to bring a SS number so I had to leave and return the next day. Then I am held back one day because I had donated at another center a few weeks before( this I understood), Came in the next day and while I was being examined 2 employees walked in the exam room WITHOUT knocking or a quick knock then ran in before the nurse could say anything. She didn_t like it either and told me there was a note on the door saying Do not Disturb. The rooms are dirty,caked in dust all over the machines and keyboards in the small rooms that was clearly not cleared for at least a month. Then I end up going home with bruises all over my arm something that has never happen to me in the years of all my surgery. The next donation I was unable to log into the machine and they had to do something to get me on. Then i wait maybe one hour and go into the dirty room and get examined. Being my second time I was still new to their protocol so when she told me to go into the waiting room(she later said she told me the back room...not true) I waited and waited and finally said something. Then I go to the back room and the employees are yak yak yak talking about term papers...one girl going over to a donor and talking with him going over his exams(he was on a computer) while I was waiting and waiting to be stuck. It took over 1 1/2 hours in the back and then the guy tried to pay me 30.00 when I was due 50.00. These centers have too much patronizing and nothing like hospitals....everyone seems to know everyone else from the hood and if you complain they are very defensive...I want to donate but am not sure I can return there. They make me nervous. |

| If you want to speak with me then let me know...I am so unhappy with these plasma centers...It is like going into a different atmosphere. This is not spam so I will watch and see if you add it as I do not believe these centers will clean up their act. |

| I contacted the IBR Plasma Center in Newport News, VA on 07/26/2011 at 4:30pm and the customer service representative (CSR) was horrible. I had a few inquiries regarding donating plasma. The CSR told me she didn_t know the answer to my questions (come to the health screening) and hung the phone up on me. I guess the Newport News Center don_t need plasma -- the poor customer service illustrates that. IBR Plamsa Center in Newport News, VA will not get my plasma. |

| The worse experience from the worker at the plasma ctr. on mercury blvd. a worker by the initials JJ, does not care about the patients she work on, splashed blood all over me, trying to flirt with someone who paid her not ATTENTION, a lady on the floor holding a tablet didnt seem concerned at all., after that happened she 4got all about me left me over there 4 some1 else 2 start me, which they didn_t. I was there for 3hrs REDICULOUS! You all need to hire ppl who has compasion for their job, some n there does BUT some n there does not. I think JJ need more training, or mayb pick something else all 2gether! |
