This place is absolutely horrible. The staff here is very unfriendly, even Snotty I would say. They treat you disrespectful and are just outright unpleasant. I decided to start donating Plasma on a Friday. I went in and waited for 3 1/2 hrs to get called back in for screening. When I was filling out the questions I wasn_t sure about a couple of my meds because they had changed. I told them what meds I was on before but some of them had changed so I had to find out exactly what ones had changed. For some reason the nurse put down the one med that I wasn_t sure about which was on the disqualification list. I explained I wasn_t sure but I thought that was the one I was no longer taking. I went home and returned the next day with a list of my meds from my doctors office and even brought in all my pills in their prescription bottles only to be rejected once again and told I will need a note from my doctor stating that I was no longer taking furosemide. Once again I head back home frustrated and wasting another 1/2 tank of gas for nothing. I set up an appointment with my Dr. and get the note that they requested saying I was no longer on the furosemide. I take it back in the next day thinking for sure this time I was set and ready to go. I waaait yet again to be seen and go back for screening , I hand them my note from the doctor saying I am no longer taking these meds and I am fine to donate. Then , they come back in and say there is no date on the note as to when I quit taking it so yet again I couldnt donate. I was told I had to wait another 48 hrs before I could come back and then I could donate. I wait the 48 hrs and head back in yet again trying to donate. I wait until my name is called and go back in the room , I wait in the room for about 20 minutes and the nurse comes back in and says that she smelled an odor , she said she wasn_t sure if it was B.O or something I was wearing. Mind you I had just taken a shower before I come in that morning. She tells me if I wanted to go home and shower and come back that they would see me. Now , my nerves are completely shot and I am feeling totally discriminated against and feeling like I am just getting the run around. I head back home yet again and jump in the shower , put on clothes right out of the washing machine , brush my teeth etc. I then return again and wait later that day. I get called back finally only to be told that since I was argumentative that morning that I was permanently deferred, meaning I can not donate at all ever again.

junkies and hookers and pimps oh my! Funny a heroin addict can do repeat donations but a new, clean client can get refused for a smoke burn for a year (ironically after confronting them about the 7 hour wait), stating its a \_hep C risk\_ when in fact Hep C is blood passed and a liver disease. worst donation place I have ever been to

located near 74 and university street...near but not super close, but near the Bradley campus for most students, the place did a good job of getting me in and out...which I think is very important! The blood plasma amount they took seemed like a lot but I suppose it was all good. For Peoria it works for me!
