I_ve never had any problems with this place. They_re very quick and observant, and they quickly react to any problems you may run into as a donor.

I was treated so badly when I went in to this circus show. The employees were goofing around with each other, making jokes and small talk with each other, while attending to me last. The kid who checked my veins to see which arm was best wrapped his elastic around my arm so tight that he pinched my skin and ripped out all the hair on my arm around that spot. It is 24 hours later and still hurting. These people are the most unprofessional and idiotic I have ever seen. I will tell everyone I know how badly I was treated and recommend they go elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED NICELY!!!

First time donating. It was a pretty good experience. They take care of you. Of course its going to hurt a little, they stick a needle in your arm. It was pretty good. Very nice facility. Watched \_Unstoppable\_ and \_Fun with Dick and Jane\_. Don_t listen to the negative comments. It was good.

My experience with this place was not so positive. The time that I spent there was way too long. Though the staff was kind they simply did not pay attention to the length of time we waited and waited. This is not healthy for first time donors, it can be very dangerous.

I went in to my appointment 15 minutes early and did not donate for over four hours, by he time I was almost done I was so sick and unable to even walk. It was awful and Ifelt they were not as on top of it as they should have been The staff was very kind but I felt like I just slipped through the cracks. 3 hours later I still feel awful.

The only plasma center I have been to. It is great. It used to take me 2.5 hrs at midday, but now it takes me 3hrs. It got popular lately. I like most of the phlebotomists. The ones I_m not attached to, I don_t have any problems with. Just have my preferences ;)

I think its an awesome place, its a great way for some easy money. The employees are fantastic... The pay has dropped, but if you_d like a place that does pay 30 the first time of the week and 35 the second time, go to the plasma center in Provo. The address is 687 W Columbia In.

Back in August PCCI was paying $30 and $35 for your first and second donation every week. However, starting in September they lowered their rates to $25 and $30 for coming in twice a week, a $10 pay cut every week or $40 every month. They know the ecconomy is bad right now and figured people would steel donate, because we need money so bad, every extra little bit helps. I sprained my ankle on 10/20/09 (Tuesday) about 4 hours after I donated, I donate on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I went to donate on Saturday, no problem, I had a cane and told them I sprained my ankle, but on the next Tuesday I went in I was told I can_t donate, with a sprained ankle. I asked to see some literature explaining this, and the guy told me it_s not in writing but if he feels like someone shouldn_t donate, then they don_t get to. He said it_s called using discression, I guess he was like a supervisor or manager. On Saturday, first I lied and said I had an in-grown toe nail, I thought I wouldn_t be able to donate because of my sprain. But I came clean and told them it was really a sprained ankle, and they had no problem with it then. But on Tuesday, I get told I can_t donate, because this guy is using his discression, and for lieing on Saturday (even though I came clean before I donated) I was being placed on the national deferral list, that means I can_t donate plasma anywhere in the country. This is the only way I was getting money, I_m looking for a job on the phones like surveys or telemarketing, so I can sit down with my sprained ankle. But there_s not alot of jobs like that hiring, I hope PCCI didn_t defer me just because I had crutches and I felt like I was an inconvenience for them. Saturday I had a cane, and I didn_t feel like I was in the way as much. I just want to be able to donate again, I would prefer to go somewhere else, but if PCCI was more accomidating to a temporary handy-cap person, then I would go back there.

I have been going here for 5 months and I love it. The pay has been dropped to $25 and $30, but that_s alright because the phlebotomists are great! And yes, you do need your SSC.

Dear PCCI, I would like to know the requirements for this process. My question is if one must have a social security number to be able to donate blood.
