| Very very slow, even if you_re a return customer plan on two hours to be processed- sometimes longer, they just don_t seem to be able to handle more than a few people at a time. If you_re new, four hours. This makes it super tough to fit in before or after work, weekends only and only if you want to blow half a day. They say payment will be within 5 minutes to an hour, the reality is a day at least. So basically it_s a real good looking center, but don_t expect service. |

| the first comment about the movie tickets is ridiculous. You should donate blood and not expect anything back. Who cares if your movie ticket isn_t honored,stop being so cheap. God, that_s pathetic |

| Giving Fandango cards to in return require going on line to get a FREE MOVIE TICKET is useless. All of us folks on the beach that attend churches that sponsor the Big Red Bus NEVER CAN RECEIVE MOVIE TICKET THAT IS HONORED within 25 miles of our homes. The only theatre that will honor the Fandango ticket is Cinema on 1-92. It is rather disheartening that we can_t get the tickets that will work at our beach theatre. I have several of the should be tickets for a free movie and none have them have worked. I have friends that today got turned away thinking Sat Bch Theatre would ho nor us with a free movie ticket as you have advertised. Please look into this problem. We love to give blood but the ticket is one of the nicest benefits for the seniors and the kids too. Thank you. |

| THE BLOOD BANK IN MELBOURNE HAVE GREAT WORKERS, THEY WORK VERY HARD. THEY CAN NOT HELP THE FACT THAT EVERYTHING TAKES SO LONG, THEY DO NOT RUN THE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE BLOOD BANK FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW AND THE ONLY PERSON THAT I HAVE KNOWN THAT LONG IS THE MANAGER AND SHE IS A GREAT PERSON. SHE BELIEVES IN LIFE SAVING. SHE IS A CANCER SURVIVOR WHO LOVES PEOPLE, WHY DO YOU NOT GO TO HER WHEN YOU HAVE A ISSUE SO SHE CAN HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEM, REMEMBER IT IS ABOUT SAVING LIVES IT SHOULD NEVER BE EASY. | I_ve donated over 15 gallons between their old location and the Babcock address. I_ve always found the staff to be top notch. To all the negative posters I suggest that you give them another try. To the poster that waited through 4 platelet donors, they don_t do that anymore and I know they have been improving this area. |

| I_ve been going to the blood bank for several years I GO every two weeks . I find nearly everyone there to be very nice. They do a great job putting the neddle in my arm. I love them all. keep up the good work. |

| Although I am somewhat phobic about needles I_m about to complete my third gallon: I_ve never had less than a positive experience at the Blood Center in either the new or old locations. I have had to wait if they were busy and I didn_t have an appointment, but that_s no different than any other situation where appointments and walk-ins are both accepted. I_ve never experienced rudeness or less than professional behavior: I have difficulty believing the negative posters went to the same facility. |

| Been donating since HRMC owned it (I think) Space Coast Blood Bank. People now are very rude. We do need ANOTHER blood center. I think the employees are disgruntled about their new move IDK but should be happy they have a job. Wont be back |

| OK, work for harris have every other fri off went and donated blood lady at front desk (heavy set) was very very rude. Got in the back and they stuck me 2 times I NEVER have had that problem plus nurses gossiping about a co-worker. Stop gossiping and find a vein!!! I wont go back there- I agree with poster we need another blood bank in melbourne. |

| OMG never again will i donate blood they stuck me 2 times and could not get a vein- ( I have bulging veins)asked me to return in 48 hours (i think) NEVER AGAIN! Besides the lady at the information desk up front was very very rude made me feel not welcome. |

| forget how many years I have been donating. I_ve been doing platelets foe about four years once a month whenever possible, usually ten times a year. They do take people with appointments before walk-ins. I have found them to be very friendly, polite, and professional. My veins are not very good, but there is one not too bad, and they get it right every time. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I_m sure it was an isolated incident. Next time call ahead and make the whole thing quicker and more enjoyable. |

| Just visited their new location on Babcock St. The new place is bright and welcoming. Great location close to one of my favorite restaurants (Makoto's). Overall a good experience and you still get cookies. |

| I'm surprised by the above comment. I have had only pleasant experiences at the Blood Center. The staff is always friendly and kind. So my recommendations is, if you want to save lives, give blood. |

| I have been giving blood at this location for about three years and I find that they are considerate and professional in how they handle Donor's. I have never had a problem. Keep up the good work..

| I don't know why I should be polite when the blood bank wasn't polite to me. But I'll do the best I can. I'm a professional (white shirt and tie). When I went to the blood bank I was told it would be about 45 minutes. After 50 minutes, and worse yet, after 4 people that came in after me were served first, even though I had my paper work done before them, I walked out. Your people were rude and completely disrespectful of my time and the time my employer gave up so I could donate blood. I am shocked and disgusted by the manner in which I was treated. At one point a woman with a New York accent came out and told me that they would get to me as soon as they could and things were slow because of an overwhelming response to a plasma call. Frankly, I don't care about the plasma call, I care about 4 people being taken before me that came in after me. After I got back to my office I told other people how things went at the blood bank. Other people mentioned that they were treated in a similar manner and that is why they don't give blood anymore. I will never go to that facility again unless something is done to correct this situation. I use to give blood, but stopped because your staff didn't have any concern about me, my time, or my employers time. I guess things haven't changed. My wife is a nurse, and I'm a professional, and if I had employees or if my wife treated her patients the way I was treated at your facility today, people would be fired. Regards William C. Koehne |
