I will not be returning here. The following phrase was heard coming from an employees mouth after she rudely declined to provide assistance \_I_m tired of these cracker bitches trying to tell us how to do our jobs\_ They seem to prefer helping drug addicts and homeless people. |

I have been going to Talecris for 3 yrs. on and off.I like the people there.Since I started everyone has been very nice,if you feel sick, they go above and beyond to make sure you feel ok,and yes they do joke around with you, they are great! As for the wait. They are very busy there,_ they have no way of knowing who can _ cant donate until they call you.If you decide to go donate, you need to be prepared to wait..._ yes it is possible you may not be able to donate.Just know...if you have had surgery,or if you have low iron, high blood pressure,or a fever you cannot donate.Believe me when a person gets turned away,it not good for Talecris either,so they dont just sit there trying to make things hard on donors. These people are amazing,so give _em a break. |

I went there times, once at 8a.m. the line to get in was really long. I sat inside for two hours and then I left thinking I could just come back in the afternoon when the line went down. I was so wrong, when I got back the lady told me that they didn_t need any more donations. The second time I went, I decided to go two hours early to make sure I wasn_t turned away. After the two hours were up a lady came up with a sign in sheet and called out for previous donors. Which was all but about ten of us. So then we go sign up on the new donor list. One girl was turned away because they didn_t need anymore donors. I then sat inside waiting for three hours. I finally got called to the back for an interview and some testing. I was turned away because I had had a minor surgery on an ingrown toenail and my toe had a bruise on it. She asked me if I had been released from my doctor_s care and I told her that I had. All this time wasted because they don_t take appointments. I feel as if they are taking advantage of the fact that people are usually in need of money when they come there to donate. It_s worse than going to the food stamp office or the WIC office because atleast they have enough courtesy to take appointments. I am so frustrated by this experience that I_ve decided to work towards opening up my own Plasma For Pay Center when I graduate from college. Plasma donation is way to important to be treating the heart of your business like beggars. What if you were the customer needing the plasma from the person that you turned away because you claim you can_t take anymore donors, or the single woman raising her child by her self on $800 a month who just needed enough money to get her baby a can of formula because WIC has a limit on how much they can give. I just wanted to feed my baby, oh by the way I had to pay a babysitter for all that time I wasted. Pray Hard and Sleep Well, Stacy |
