it took me 59min. for someone to answer the phone just to set up an appointment. The first time I called someone answered the phone pushed 3 buttons then hung up on me. This is not professional, when you call to make an appointment (no matter how busy they are) the donor should be cared for first! Acting like this is childish and they need to rethink who should be an employee. If your employees are not doing their job correctly then they should be fired. Not in their case they keep their jobs and mess with donors lives by not doing what _CLEARLY_ is their job. I would not tell any of my friends and family to go here, just based on their professionalism. They don_t ever do their job they stand around talking about their week, sports or who is doing who... Like I care about any of that, JUST DO YOUR JOB, that_s why your there in the first place. If they were my employees i_d fired every one of them and rehire. I would not even give talecris 1 star but I had to being the lowest, they dont even deserve the 1. |

The two times that I went in, I found that the staff didn_t treat people with respect. They talked to one another about how many hours they had that week, days off, basket ball, as opposed to talking with the patients. They mis-stuck me during both visits and fished around in my arms (on both visits) with the large needle, making me concerned about the damage they were causing to my health. I also question the amount of education they received in order to gain employment. A majority of the staff seem to lack professionalism and empathy, and for that, I feel like they should not be allowed to work in this field. I understand it may be a position that drains a lot of one_s energy, but people who are in a desperate position financially shouldn_t be treated disrespectfully after already being in a vulnerable position. The white lab coat doesn_t mean they are better-than the donors. Unfortunately, I feel this clinic preys on the less-fortunate, providing patients with staff who are not trained well and do not practice professionalism and respect to their patients. Donate at your own risk. They tore up my arms both times and did not express any empathy. |

I thank that the other people who has made a comment about the staffs are stupid. Yes there are some that makes a mistake but you try to put up with Hundreds to Thousands of people who or rude and give the staff a hard time. Every time I go there they are nice to me and yes there are time when you will have to set for a long time so take a book or something to do until your name is call and give a smell and thank them and to have a nice day. |

I have to say that it is hard to rate the services at this center because it is very difficult to deal with many of the clients I_m sure. A couple of things I find annoying are first the music. The center has people from all walks of life yet seems to cater to one group. I wish they would just throw the radio out the door. Second, When someone is about to shove a [big] needle into my arm I wish they would just concentrate on the task at hand. Idle chit-chat,between employees, can wait for breaks or down times. Also, contracting with clients against management just sets a negative environment for everyone. |

I have to say my first day there was my worst day ever. It took me all day. I got there at 7am and did not get out of there until 7pm. After that day It went fairly fast depending on the day. However, I recommend you watch who pokes you because some of the people there do not pay attention to what they are doing and if they make a mistake they will defer you for it. which I find wrong in may ways. Most of the people who work there are very rude and do not care about you or weather you can donate again. The best person there is Jason. he is super sweet and knows how to do his job right. Most of my family and friends have been kicked out of the office because of the other workers, so watch how you look at them or even speek to them. they will kick you out even if you are in the right |

The first time I went in it took 8 hours, it was horrible! Some of the people who work there aren_t very nice, one girl was just rude and offensive. Be sure to take something to eat because if you wait all that time then donate you will get sick. |

Regular donor, but I wish I wasn_t. A typical visit usually takes a minimum of four hours, so be prepared to sit there all day. My advice: Don_t come in before three in the afternoon. They don_t get moving until after lunch, so whether you come in at noon or come in at three you still get out at the same time. Today I went in at 2 and didn_t get out until 8. |

I called Talecris Flint to inquire as to whether they were taking new donors and to make an appointment. The individual taking the call was so upset/confused/harried that I was not able to make an appointment. I was angrily told about how many people were in the lobby and had been sitting there all day. I certainly would not go to this center and allow any sort of procedure no matter how much the pay! |
