| As a silkver level donor not once have i had to or have seen anything in the nature of what these people are talking about. The staff are of highest quality, they are for the most part very helpful in making your donation experience a good one. The only reason people choose to give bad comments is mainly because they arre impaitent. I will see my friendly staff off CSL plasma on thursday. Oh and by the way if you dont like the way this center treats you then go some where else!!!! |

| First off, I will be speaking about CSL Plasma on Irvington. I_m not sure if this is the same place. Buuut I had a very good experience with the employees. All the ones that I interacted with were very personable and nice. On my secong visit there though I noticed that they did NOT change their gloves often. I sat there and watched one lady poke 5 different people and never wash her hands or change her gloves once. Personally I don_t care if you_re touching the needle or not, you are still poking people and dealing with their blood. Atleast change them before each new person! It_s scary to think about how horribly wrong something like that can go! When I was getting taken off the machine I asked the intern to wash her hands and change her gloves and she was great about it. I started inquiring on the subject and I was told that she was taught in school to constantly be changing her gloves but that she was told not to do it there... Someone please do something about this!! I will not be returning. |

| This is the same address for a place I_ve been going, but it_s called CSL. I_m really confused about that. Are they two different places? If not, I have not had any experiences except for that everytime I_ve been in booth 2, my temperature is too high. I think they_re machine is rigged or something, because I went somewhere later and felt hotter than I did when I was there and my tempature dropped one. I don_t know. I think the staff for the most part is friendly, but there is one blonde that kinda acts a little stuck up. I_ve been going since the last comment was posted, and again, I don_t know if it_s the same place. The lines are long sometimes, but it_s really not too bad. |

| This place was completely unprofessional and the leadership was extremely abusive towards staff. Communicating to intake as incompatant and uncertain of direction due to management and leadership stern and agressive responses. Requesting assistance for \_ probation type aporoach \_ attitude is useless. I honestly believe that leadership, specificly Steve ( blonde hair and glasses ) and his direct manager ( black hair and black beard ) believe they are medical probation officers. Medical being underlined. I understand sometimes people have a bad day but to not care? Even knowing I am to be compensated for my time and blood, it would only be proper business to atleast act as if you are positive about your job and consider customer understanding and satisfaction atleast in the top five core services. Both employees were not clean in appearence. One employee was wearing dirty jeans and a black Dallas Cowboy jersey that was very worn. The second employee and manager or O.G. as Steve called him was dressed in jeans, a dirty t-shirt and untamed facial hair. I requested to speak to the manager for Steve and his sarcastic comment that, \_ I did not go to paramedic school for nothing. \_ in response to my refusal to agree with him about tramadol being a class 3 narcotic. I was asked inapropriate questions following my response to questions about the status of my back. Questions about sharpness or tingling in my legs and when I advised him of being prescribed oxycodone Steve referred to oxycodone as oxycontin. I informed him they were different medications and Steve declared, \_ Same thing! They both have tylenol. \_ Since when are phlebotomists chemists and pharmacy techs? In closing this place of business had unhappy employees, bottom line. That unhappiness will always rub off on customers. I believe that is what I was, a customer. Instead I was a victim. It ultimately is Gods will and perhaps I was spared the agony of the process of providing my blood. Regardless of my religeous beliefs I shall never sell my blood to this establishment. Red Cross donation is the safest choice. I do not care about the financial compensation. I choose donating and being treated fair. You go here and you will see. Enough said. |

| How about a current review from someone who has been there recently ...PLZ! I went to the center near the university years ago and it was a reasonably decent place. Is this the ONLY place in Tucson for this now? These reviews are almost intimidating - is this place as bad as it sounds or are the reviews posted just coming from resentful people? Is this center in a safe neighborhood or is that something else to be concerned with as well? Any comments will be appreciated. THXS! |

| If you want to help people, Donate plasma at the red cross. Red cross is non profit and the money they receive from the hospitals who pay for your plasma is put back into red cross relief and their facilities, staff, CPR classes, etc. Hence why the donor facilities for the red cross are so nice, friendly staff, nice environment, etc. Your plasma is guaranteed to go towards people who need them the most. When you give plasma for money its not guaranteed to go to people who need them. Its the highest bidder and can be used for just about anything including cosmetics purposes. If it is about helping people then donate at the red cross, if its about money then keep up the services to ZLB. In the end you dont get paid much for your plasma and places like ZLb are making bank off your plasma. They seem to not even make the time worth while which is a shame. Im AB+ universal donor for platelets/plasma, and i donate weekly to red cross. takes me an hour and a half just about every time, and a lot of patients who receive platelet and plasma donations from the red cross come in and thank the donors. Red cross never has enough but again, this is a free donation purely for good karma points. 4 hours is a long time for a donation and in an unfriendly facility, dirty, low pay, its not worth it. Least at the red cross you get free food and shirts and slippers and all kinds of goodies! and..they have good movies to watch or wi fi if you want to bring your own computer. Just saying, I get pampered at the red cross, and it feels good knowing my plasma and platelets are for sure, guaranteed, going to hospitals... not to the highest bidder. |

| Please remember that while the company does Sell and profit on your plasma.. Your plasma is still used by those who need it.. this even includes those serving over seas to general use and patient care. If you find yourself complaining about your compensation try remembering that it_s not about yourself. Plasma cannot be created in a lab.. regardless of how it gets the the patient.. The patient is still the one who needs it. |

| If you think that your doing a service for the community by donating plasma, think again. Figure the amount you get paid is anywhere between $25 and $35. Now figure how much this place is selling your plasma for. You might think it_s going to help children or very sick adults, it_s not. It_s being sold to the highest bidder. I would guess that their making at least $200-$500 for your \_donation\_. The worse the economy is, the better the business is for the stab lab. The companies that buy the plasma are government funded and will not go under due to a bad economy. If you really want to help people, donate your blood at a Red Cross location. Ask to look at the contract you signed when you walked in and first signed up. IT_S NOT A DONATION IF THEY PAY YOU FOR IT! |

| I have been going to this facility for yrs, off and on. The employees used to be very friendly and fun. Now You have employees look at you like you are a low-life because you need a little financial help. I have been stuck with a needle, they are trying to find my vein, poking and poking. I literally yelled out at them to stop. I then received a dirty look from this \_young woman\_. She is not the only one, i consider these employees very unprofessional, crude, uncaring individuals. I am ecstatic they finally opened another facility here and am planning to start donating there. Yes the point of donating is helping others, however it should not be a bad experience for the person donating either......thank you |

| Even by the horribly low standards of the plasma donation industry this place is a joke. There are poles damn near on top of the beds that you run in to. The staff at the check in is always gossiping and are almost never polite (with the singular exception of a nice one named Hannah). The people who stick you frequently have a bad attitude, talk about their personal lives with lewd detail, and cuss like they_re paid by the swear word. And the management is horrible, you tell them of a problem you have and they poo-poo you out the door. And lets not even talk about the low pay they give to their donors! When the economy got worse they SLASHED donation prices even though they had more donors (read more $)than ever! This place is a total joke and I recommend that NOBODY go there, even as a last resort! |

| I haven_t gone since last year, didn_t think it was so bad, how bad have the prices dropped? I completely understand this is about helping people, but it is a 4 hour process at times I think compensation is fair, well I don_t know how much it_s dropped since I went. |

| You don_t seem to understand the consept of donating plasma. It is not for your benefit but for those who need the plasma. 99.99% of those who go to donate are for one selfish reason: they need money. The movies are optional, a privelege not a right. The building is unable to be improved due to financial and legal reasons. ZLB is not supposed to be your only financial income but an asset. Get a job, do something smart, and grow up. |

| Why has the prices gone down. Alot of person donates are need to put food on the table, gas and pay bills. Now the our kids are out of school is not the time to be making these changes. It_s unfair cuz we spent 3 to 4 hours on average for the donation. The place always busy and most important dirty. The building in unsafe for the reason being, poles holding the ceiling from falling on us. We are hurting finacial PLEASE don_t do this to us now. |

| I noticed that not one of the staff said hello, told me their name, or made any sort of introduction. The experience was very impersonal. The building is old and smelly and dark, and the bathrooms look filthy and unclean. The staff actually taking the plasma was pleasant. I did not enjoy the choice of movies played (2 very low humor Jim Carey films.) I will go again to donate plasma to help people and for the money, but I wish there was a more pleasant place to do this in Tucson. |

| They do not care about the individual donating, but only about getting the plasma out of you. The upkeep of the building was below par, and I question the hygiene of the staff. |
