They are responsible in the health care delivery system by providing blood components and needed services and assisting hospital staff and physicians in evaluating and improving transfusion medicine. They serve about 2.5 million people in North, Central, and southwest Louisiana, southeast Texas and South Arkansas. The LifeShare Blood Centers is required by law to maintain the privacy of protected health information and to provide individuals with notice of its legal duties and privacy policies with respect to the information they given. |
