American Plasma in Houston

Filed under: — site admin @ 4:31 pm

The American Plasma centers are a non profit organization dedicated to plasma donations for biomedical research and hospital usage.

The American Plasma centers operating as American Plasma Inc, were bought out in 1998 by Seracare, which in turn was bought out by Biomat in 2002.

Biomat is a part of Grifols a multinational blood bank conglomerate.

American Plasma does NOT give donators any money or incentives for blood or plasma donations, unlike many of the other Biomat subsidiaries throughout the country.
