Once your in its not bad I've been going for here mainly due to lack of options but making me wait a month before I can donate again then asking me by mail to come in again then telling me I have to make an appointment before I can donate again. I rely on this money for gas to get me to work and they need to notify people of this stuff before they waste time and gas just to get nothing from this. I am no longer going to this company because of their really bad policies.

I have been 3 times and my husband has been 4. I do agree the first visit takes forever! I had to re-do my New Donor visit- because the first time my temp. was slightly high. (No idea why!!) But I returned the next day and my temp. was good. However, I did have to re-do my heart rate because it was elevated. (Your heart rate can not be over 100- and mine was 105) I was nervous, since I had never done it before. But these are at no fault of the staff- these are policies for safety. (That of a donor and the person receiving the plasma.) My husband had to wait a long time on his first visit as well. He almost spent the whole day there. Now, when we go (As repeat donors) the wait time is not bad. It's normally 45 minutes to an hour and a half for the plasma donation process. And I have NEVER been stuck more than once. (And I have rolling/collapsing veins) Granted they do re-stick the EXACT same spot which can hurt like bloody hell. But I also know that's the best vein that apparently works, and truthfully... I'd rather them do that - then take a chance on being re stuck a few times. Also, I have been known to ask a ton of questions so I have learned the more hydrated you are the faster it goes. (DUH!) and eat a healthy meal the night prior and the day of it. I swear it really does help. And b4 someone says I work there -NO I don't. I am a stay at home mother and my husband is in the service. I do it yes cause money is always helpful, but a lot of it gets donated to children's hospitals. And being a mom I would hate to think my kids may need it one day- but if they ever did, I would be very thankful to whom ever they received it from. I am proud to donate! And fortunate enough to be healthy enough to be able to. Yes, some of the donors look sketchy to me. But who am I to say much? I was raised not to judge a book by it's cover. And if you are not happy with some of the staff say something to the management or do not return. I feel comfortable there. Plus, I enjoy talking with some of the other ppl. that are there. And I normally get to watch Friends or Everybody Loves Raymond. So at least I do not have to hear complaining kids for a bit, which is always nice. LOL Anyways- hope my thoughts/opinions may help future donors! you all take care!

A lot of you guys complain over the smallest things. First of all you don't have to go if you don't like it there. Second its free money just to give plasma. Third your not going to be in and out within a half hour. It takes at least 2-3 hours to donate. Last but not least if that place is so bad you can report the company if talking to the manager doesn't work. Your not only there to get money but to save lives.

I admit I was only there once. I went in told the lady that worked there it was my first time there and asked what I needed to do. She ignored me. I asked if I had to sign in . She and everyone else ignored me. All they would do is look at me with a dirty look than look away. There was nothing there to sign in for the ten minutes I stood there, and they ignored me the whole time.It was 4 times in total I asked them what I had to do. I went out smoked a cig and came back in. Still nothing there to sign in and they still would not talk to me. I went and sat where everyone else was seated. After about ten minutes a crazy woman came out and yelled at everyone that was seated and said everyone was being disrespectful. I think she was yelling about people like myself that asked questions.I waited about 30 more minutes thinking someone would come out and explain how this all works or something but no one did. I asked before I left if they take appointments. No answer.I never raised my voice in anger or anything. I do not know why they acted this way.

I actually like it here. They are nice to me, its not dirty, doesn't smell, and its quick for me. Try Jackson plasma donation center and see which one you like better. It's gonna be Clarksville.

I seriously don't know what all you people are talking about. I've been going there for 4 months and have never had a bad experience. I'm always in and out between 1.5 and 2.5 hrs. The place is clean and smells like a Dr's office. I've heard some employees belly aching about shifts or hours but who doesn't. Judging by the look of a lot of people I see in the waiting area, you're just pissy because you're in a hurry to get paid and buy your next fix.

Worst place to donate plasma. Staff doesn't care if they make you sit there for hours upon hours. Donating plasma is uncomfortable enough, we don't need the staff of the location making us feel like low lifes. Of course though, their are a couple of people that are nice, but far and in-between. I will say something nice the place does seem pretty clean and does not stink. Patients that donate are mostly nice as well.

The women that work here are rude and catty. You will spend more time donating here then anywhere else. Slow slow slow my 2 yr old could probably work faster then these dumb girls. Be prepared to be stuck twice or incorrectly. It's dirty small smelly and outdated. And veg if your gonna be a little shit and stick up for these idiots then atleast spell right

Staff is rude, unprofessional,I waited 5 hours in the lobby (while there were nurses gossiping like it was high school all over again, and they were extremely lazy. If your someone trying to do the right thing by donating without pay like I was, it was a complete waste of time and a embarrassment.

The staff is too concerned about complaining about how long they work, and who gets off when and why that pt's just sit and wait. the average wait time from in the door to out the door is 3 and a half hours. The staff talks about the pt's right in front of them as do they talk about each other. They also come and go as they please, while the corp says that x amount of staff be present while x amount of pt's are there donating.

The workers here are more interested in talking and gossip instead of there job. This is 2 include all the management. If they would spend half the time they do messing around and playing games people would be in and out in half the time

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever entered. The staff is rude, impatient, always gossiping loudly and act like they don't give a rats ass about you. One employee stated \_ I pray to God I get out of this place\_ right before she was about to stick me with a needle. I asked if someone else could do the procedure and she stormed off and left the BP cuff on my arm while it was squeezing full blast. I will never go there again and I would advise you don't either. It isn't worth the money!
