Open data

We maintain a cross-network directory of donation centers as public infrastructure, and we want it to be useful beyond this site.

What we maintain

A directory of blood, plasma, and platelet donation centers across the United States and Canada, with location, operator, donation types, verification status, and donor reviews.

Using the data

The directory is meant to help people donate. If you are a researcher, public-health group, or blood organization and would like a machine-readable export, get in touch and we will help where we can.

What we will not share

We do not share personal data. Open data covers center and directory information, not anything about individual users.

Download the data

The center directory is published as static files for research, journalism, public health, donor education, and blood center use. The files are generated statically at build time and cover 28 fields per center. Read the license and known limitations before you use them.
