This last time I went to donate, my vein collapsed and I had told the nurse that it was hurting a lot, but she did not take me seriously. She took her time coming over to unplug me and take out the needle. I almost fainted and she then proceeded to blame me, saying that I must not have been drinking enough water or eating food before I came, which I had. I will not be going back to this branch.

I have donated blood at the Fullerton facility 3 or 4 times over the last several years and found everyone to be friendly and efficient in their work. The last time I went my vein started to collapse but the attendant immediately got someone over to assist with \_saving\_ the vein. It all worked out fine.

I just called the Red Cross in Fullerton to ask if they do pay for blood plasma. The woman told me \_No\_ _ asked if I had donated blood plateletts before, which I have not. She said that they were not accepting any new female platelett donors at this time. Then I said \_Ok, when can I come to just donate blood? ...Hello?? Hello?\_ ...yeah, she hung up on me.
