Heartland does NOT pay for plasma, at least as of 10/28/08. I was just told by their staff that only platelets are collected, and it is on a donation basis only.

This place is located in a strip mall near the Jewel and some other random changing stores. I liked that they were right off of route 14 in Crystal Lake and had a nice new and clean plasma donation center. They paid me well and promptly...which is always a major plus. Overall I like this place and think that for Mchenry county they do a good job
