They have always been polite and efficient for the past 20 years. I have seen some places not so nice but Jacksonville has always treated all customers the same even the ones that are very rude., but everyone will have a bad day sometime. After doing something for others it should make you feel great no matter if someone is having a not so good day. Just smile and maybe it will make their smile appear. Anyway if you work with the public there will always be the one you can't make happy no matter what you do for them.

donated many times over a six year period before moving back to ny state.people are honest excellent staff. never a problem. the have to follow federal guidelines so if there is a problem its probably because your situation \_falls outside the box\_..thats why its safe.to protect YOU and the supply of blood and plasma.its better to have one bad remark then one bad donated bottle of plasma or sick donor,,50 donors every couple of hours cant be all wrong ..made MANY friends there.on and off the table.

FIRST OFF @ JANE DOE: i read ur comment earlier and I use to work @ a bplasma donation center, however i thought ur comment was kinda rude that u had to point out a black staff worker. What does color have to fo with it? and u sound mad at her like she is the one that didn't let u donate. U have to pass a physical and ur counts with protein, calcium and other has to be up. Also not on any street or recreational kinda drugs, that being sd i feel like ur some kinda junkie who came in to get money for ur habit. Who else would spend ten dollars coming there insteada going somewhere closer? and u hada be if u waited supposedley for hrs why didnt u go check on paperwork? withdrawling from ur high? prob in that case we aren't obligated to take u in as a patient. no we dont need blood if its gonna make the person pass out as we sit there, thats y we take that time to prepaare. anyway i hope u ginally got help bc it sounds like u need that more than a few bucks. On the lus side i gotta agree with most of this board and say they r fabolous here! Especially if ur not on any drugs lol i just come here bc Im bored and bc it makes me feel like im helping hopefully a troop and bc i can shop a lil more or replace what i have shopped lol

I've been a donor at this location since 2009. This location has the most friendly and supporting staff and the cleanest location I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, I've moved from Onslow County to Duplin County and with the way gas prices are these days, I've been trying to find a closer location. Since my fiance frequent Jacksonville quite a bit, I stop in often.

On my first visit i was told i needed a note from my Dr stating it's ok to give plasma i went back the following wk w/ my dr's note, we went around _ around on what i ate and when, with one black female staff shaking her head saying i hadnt eaten enough (eggs _ cheese _ 4 cinn toasts _ milk _ ginger snaps in the car on the way) but she kept wispering to another staff, shaking her head. They werent going to let me give the plasma cause i hadnt eaten \_enough\_ and \_not recent enough\_ (2.75 hrs ago). But finally a nurse pointed out i had eaten cookys in the car on the way, so they completed the screening(i thought) and told me to go to the kiosk to finish paperwork and waited...and waited..and waited (it was 745pm and i was the only one left) so i asked if theyd called me name while i was in the restroom, and a staff told me i needed to give a urine and she disappeared...10 more mins...nothing, so i go to te counter and then another tech takes me back into the screening room where id already been when i got there, asking for my Dr's note, and says \_You wont be giving plasma today What! He said the note needed to be on the paper, NOT her prescription pad and it needs to say what drugs i take and why. NONE of which had been said on the previous visit, or in the hour id already been there. it DIDNT Matter that i had drvien 30 miles and spend $10 on gas....FOR NOTHING!! He didnt apologize, but kept repeating what the Dr needed to write. Someone asked me if i am going back....the answer is NO NEVER iguess they dont need plasma that bad

This place is horrible, i have gone there off and on for several years when im really strapped for cash and now they tell me i can never come back because i got a tattoo more than a year ago when thier policy clearly states that you have to wait six months.
