Its an alright place it gets packed... staff can b rude sometimes but they play movies all day .... They pay 50$ the first 2 times u go then its 30$ n 40$ for the next week and on the 8th visit they give u a bonus. Mostly filipinos work here oh and they are slow there they take a long time to call people in.

I donated here for about 2 years, so that should say something. They're no longer Pyramid; they now call themselves Octapharma, and I felt like less of a valued donor, and more of a walking blood bag, but they treat you okay, I guess. My only *major* complaint was that I tested FALSE positive for an STD that I didn't have, and was inexplicably deferred from the program for this. In the whole 2 years I had never had intimate contact of any kind, or used drugs, and I'm even a bit OCD about even shaking hands, so I was a bit amazed. A battery of subsequent confirmatory tests proved I had never ever had the STD, but that was the end of my \_career\_ as a donor.

you will be there at least 4-6 hours and sometimes longer if you're a first time donor. used to donate whole blood there, but they stopped that practice in febuary 2008. staff is courteous, most of the folks that come in are friendly too. got TVs all over. they want you to eat a good meal before donating. plan your day well and bring a book just in case.(oh yeah for you new donors, it would help to have your id, social security card, recent bill or document verifying your address)
