Worst plasma experience ever. Brung a friend in and it took her 6 and a half hours for intake and to donate. Staff were rude and incompetent. . My own intake was not completed after 5 hours because I got tired of waiting and left. They took many other donors in to nurse before new donors. Called in today at noon to ask if I could finish my intake. They lost the whole file and said they could not finish before 4pm and to come back next week

I had no problem going in there everyone was very polite the only thing was it took a long time to get done.

Went in a few weeks ago took 2 hours to get started and was able to give plasma but couldn't stay because how long it took went in today and couldn't sell because they couldn't find my veins? Also continually questioning if I was hydrated. I wouldn't recommend this place because of how long it takes to get in and the nurses attitudes.

it was actually really nice compared to others..not to mention you will see the same staff members almost every-time. So there's not new people sticking you..

It all depends on the blood test and the pesorn. I get blood tests all the time (actually had one yesterday, in fact), and sometimes I bruise, sometimes I don't. The phlebotomist (pesorn who does the test) does their very best to make sure the needle goes into the vein correctly and doesn't create any extra holes, but sometimes the vein just seeps more blood out after the needle comes out, or the needle was moved around and put stress on the vein, you can also get a bruise.

I am going to donate again today, I thought my first visit was very good, I did not have to wait very long , it took about 2 hours for the intake process and to donate, and I thought everyone was very nice, I don't know what all these people are talking about, this has to be one the best places to donate in okc, its the only place I will go.

Ist time donor. WORST EXPERIANCE imaginable. The employees are crude, ill manored, sarcastic, empithetic, flat out mean and disprespectul people. ILL NEVER GO BACK. Unless its to mearly walk in and tell the staff what incompitent lame-o's they are. You get an F Talecris. YOU FAIL miserably.

I found the staff to be friendly and efficient.

Very professional and courteous staff. Yes, there is a wait but not eight hours. I was in and out in two hours.

return donors having to wait 4 to 5 hours is stupid. management staff is rude. what a way to run a business. people are donating to save lives and they are making people not want to come back. If talecris does not want the donors to come back, why not just lock your doors.

this is a bad place to give plasma. the treat donor like dirt. there needs to be an investigation on this place. the best thing to do is hire new staff from management on down.

this was my first time and i will never return. i was at the center on the sw part of oklahoma city almost 6 hours. the employees were not doing there job. people were sitting out there 1 to 2 hours before being called as a return donor. there was plenty of beds in the back by the time I got back there and plenty of people in the front. no one was working but employees being nasty to donors. this place needs to close down or get new people in it.

this was my 1st time and last. management was rude/unprofessional. a white male (i assume to be management) talks to donor crazy. i dont have to take that from anyone or listen to it. i would rather go somewhere that appreciates their donors.

I am going to donate so I cannot rate the facility yet. What I've read is concerning, but I am actually more concerned that the posters who have complained keep saying \_donor\_. A true donor gives, is not PAID. These people are being paid $100 or so and they want to get out in 2 hrs or less? So they're worth $50 an hour! If their time is that valuable why are they selling blood/plasma? Just my opinion.

my 1st time was 8 hrs. sitting there all that time will run your BP up. the staff was walking around BSing, beds were empty. at 8am, they should be calling donors to get started, instead they are just setting up and talking. donors are angry and blood pressurse goes up sitting there all that time. they need to set some rules, donor want to get in and out within 2 hours tops for return donors. what is their problem with 3 to 4 hrs for return donors. they need to stop talking/joking and get donors in and out in a good time. the 23rd street gets you in and out in 1hr30 min tops for return donors. if i did not move on this part of tow,n i would stay there. i am thinking of stopping donating because of talcris, change your ways and have staff be more polite to donors.

where do i start? as a 1st time donor i am very unimpressed on the professionalism at the talecris (Okc western)location. there was no privacy. a outside cleaning company was shown around the building. even where customers were donating. a donor complained a little about the wait.(my wait from beginning to end was 8 hours btw). one of the employees heard complaint and said to another co worker \_Oh well they have to wait. they're the ones that need the money\_ i overheard this. isn't donating a good thing? without people to donate where would the world be? how would talecris stay open? also my wife was there with me. she asked her assistant to be gentle It was her first time. he said \_Youre in the wrong place then\_ im sorry are we not people? how dare talecris employees treat customers this way. we will not ever donate there again.
