I have been donating platelets at United Blood Services in Billings for more years than I care to remember (or maybe more than I can remember at my age), going well back into the days of the double stick machines when the service was located downtown. The important need it fulfills led me to go in the first time. The professional and friendly atmosphere made it easy for me to keep coming back. The people are the key. Some of the staff have been there since my first visit. Others are more recent. They all have in common the ability to do their jobs well and to make donors feel comfortable and valued. I feel fortunate to be able to team up with such great people and literally help to save lives.
