Employees at CSL on Jefferson St.in Louisville like to laugh and play too much at donors_ expense. They make donors wait too long before giving attention. They are not prompt at connecting plasma machines once donor is on bed. They are not prompt at disconnecting machine once process is complete. Management refuses to have broken computers fixed, making donors wait long periods for processing. Donors_ time taken for granted at CSL on Jefferson St. Need better management.

Everything was fine until I had a legal name change, Then they refused to change my legal name and continued calling me by my old name, I waited after 2 months of constant reminders and still nothing. They also sent me home because I had a few scratches from allergies-seriously? I couldn't help it. what the hell was I supposed to do? no medicine was helping at all and I needed this money to pay bills, now I can't pay bills because I don't have any extra income and I am homeless now-Thanks CSL, you are a real winner!

The lobby of this place looks nice, but that's as far as I've seen. I called beforehand and they said I needed to bring an ID, SS card, and proof of address. OK. Show up with an ID with my address on it and a birth certificate. They say I need a SS card. So make a trip to the social security office and they are going to mail me one in 2 weeks but print out a signed, stamped paper receipt with the social security number (ZLB said this would do). Go back and they say I need a letter addressed to me. I run home and get one. Come back and they say it has to be postmarked, as in rubber stamped over the stamp. I'll have to wait till my freaking birthday before I get one of those from a relative, nobody uses those anymore. Also, the receipt from the social security office had my first name abbreviated to the first letter and they said this was unacceptable. And the guy (doctor) that ran the place was a total asshole about the whole ordeal, and didn't even care that I wasted 3 hours running all these errands when they could have been more clear up front. Hopefully someone reads this and doesn't waste their time.

I was appalled by the manner in which this plasma center was kept. The restrooms were disgusting, i had to wait 6 hours, and when done instead of juice and waiting for a few minutes to collect yourself they demanded you leave the premises immediately. I passed out in the car on the way home and had to have an ambulance called for me! This plasma center has no respect for the donors, or themselves.
