💵 Get paid to donate plasma. Plasma centers like this one typically compensate donors, commonly $40–$100 per visit with larger first-month bonuses. Rates vary by location and promotion, so confirm the current offer with the center.

Before you go

  • ✅ Bring a photo ID and a list of any medications.
  • 💧 Hydrate well and eat iron-rich food beforehand.
  • 😴 Get a good night's sleep; avoid heavy exercise right after.
  • 🕒 Set aside about an hour (about 1–1.5 hours).

I called to make sure what I needed to do as a first time donor. They gave me a list of things to bring and told me it would take about an hour and half...5 hours later, I had $50. I guess if you need to go here, you wont speak up about being mistreated. I will try the CSL in East Lansing next time for sure.

workers too involved with one another.permanently deferred and false statements added to file. unable to donate at any other CSL center ...

This place is horrible. The workers are very racially biased. When you get in the back to donate, the techs are partial to the people who flirt with them. This is a very unprofessional place. The worst part is, if you have an issue you can't speak up or you will be deferred and won't be allowed to donate.

I live 30 mins away. Upon my first arrival I was instructed that I needed verification of residence since I had stated I just moved. I was then turned away without being told that if I had been a previous donor, that I would need to call ahead to have my records transferred 24 hours in advance. Upon my 2nd arrival the very next day with my residential proof, I was again turned away because I had to wait an additional 24 hours for my records. At that point, I had been turned away 2 times within 48 hours and spent the amount of money in gas that would've been paid to me for my plasma. EXTREMELY POOR customer service, poor proactive service, impersonal and poorly staffed. If we had the money to blow on driving back and forth to this facility 3 times in 3 days - we wouldn't be THERE. BOO!

I was there waiting for 5 hours on my first visit. Not enough staff for the work load. All staff complained about co-workers and short staff issues, breaks, hours ect.
