This was my first time donating plasma so I don't know how to compare this location to other blood banks. After reading other reviews of other places I was prepared for a bad experience. As it turns out my experience was positive. The location was convenient and well kept. The staff was friendly, helpful, and competent. I went at 7:30am to minimize my wait and I'm not sure that made much difference. There were no other new donors going through the intake so I wasn't held up by a crowd. It took about an hour to go through the basic introduction. About an hour of wait and physical checkup (thorough). About an hour and a half for the donation. I expect my future visits to take about a hour. I was a little concerned about reviews that said everyone there is a drug addict. This was not the case at all. There were a few questionable looking donors but most seemed like regular people like me who need the money. It's not the country club.
