I'm reevaluating my entire plasma donation decision after the way I was treated here. After completing my fourth donation, as I was leaving, I noticed that bottles of Powerade were left out for (presumably) whoever wanted one. I decided to take one on my way out. I was stopped by an extremely rude, loud woman who acted as if her job was Protector of the Powerade. She chased me around the corner yelling like a lunatic, _HEY!! HEYY!! YOU CAN_T HAVE THAT!! THOSE ARE FOR MALES ONLY!!_ I stopped, apologized, and told her that I was unaware of the _males only_ policy on the Powerade and also that she didn't have to cause a scene and treat me like a corrections officer. She was clearly up for a fight-- _Do you want to see a manager?_ (?) I told her no, I didn't want to see a manager and that she didn't have to yell at me the way she did. _Well I am a manager._ (so what? I didn't ask for one!) Then she looked at me and goes, _it's so sad._ Followed by a very ugly, sarcastic _Have a nice day_ to me. (!) This happened in a hallway in front of a bunch of other people. I was flabbergasted. Perhaps to be included in the legalese on the consent forms is the willingness to submit to very offputting jail-mentality attitudes exhibited by some members of the staff and some _managers_, apparently.

When you donate your plasma, you become a hero by helping save lives worldwide and right next door. You also help yourself by donating your plasma.

First appointment is long! My entire appointment took 5 hours including donating. They let you know this ahead of time. Staff was okay, in this busy office. I will be back for my 2nd donation in a couple days. If you are in the Phoenix/West side area I would recommend this place over the one on 19th _ Indian School. I parked out side their building and got offered drugs.

profesonalism at this location has progresivly gotten worse over the years. The security gaurd used to be friendly but now he never smiles let alone he doesn't respond in any way when you give him a friendly hello. I remember most of the employees from when it was Adventes bio services. A few are still really nice bu t others have become very rude. I enjoy donating here when I get certain people. To name few of the wonderful people I keep coming back to see are Angela, Arecelli (I hope I spelled her name right) Christeen, Heather, Afton, and there is one more lady but I cant think of her name at the moment. Cleanliness has deteriorated as well in the womens room there is a sign that was handing on the mirror saing the sink

Doesn't work it has been there more than a year and tells you to use sanitizer to wash your hands. The sink works take the sign down already. There is always caps and wrapers left on the floor. I have even seen someone drop something and picked it up. Only problem I had was the fact they did not change their gloves. I said something to the person and they denied it so if they are there and go to help me. I will request someone else. The wait isn't as long as it use to be to get out to the floor. I am happy to hear about the reloction in progress hope the people go with it as well

In response to how our center looks. We are aware and have done the best that we can with what our corporate office gives us. With the transition into a new company we will be relocating to a brand new center that is more resembles a medical office. We will be moving around June, July of 2013. We will be posting more information closer to our move date. Thank you for your donation.

The only complaint I have is the security guard...he is rude, not personable, and his plastic badge has gone to his head. Otherwise, the nurses and techs are great...gentle, friendly, and keep the environment fun! I give kudos to any establishments staff who sees over 100 people daily and can remember who YOU are!

I came from the Talecris from Yuma, AZ that was larger and a bit cleaner. I do have to say that both locations have excellent skilled people that put needles in our arms except for one or two... The friendliness is average, yet they need to be more strict to people donating that are too loud or talking about unnecessary subjects. Overall.. the movies are great... the wait time is fair.. they just need to expand.. and I thought the security guard was nice.

Ditto on the security guard comment and also for the center keeping donors informed can`t say how many times policy changed in the past year and was not once posted. Sorry guys i failed mind reading in high school, so post the rules and policies every time they change this means you management, your employees are only as good as you allow them to be. Other then the obvious mgmt problem the employees do a great job. Congrats guys, oh by the way looking forward to a new mgr it`s about time for someone new to fix something that`s not broken, gotta love them suits

I haven't had any problems with talecris, I used to donate at Biomat in phoenix, and almost always they would set my return to high and I would get dizzy and almost pass out. You make about $60 a week donating twice a week. the wait is usually long, but that's why they pay you. Your first visit will usually take about 8 hours, so don't go in when u have stuff to do. You should also pay attention to their rules, -Always drink lots of water before going in the more you drink the faster your donation will be. - Always eat before going in (something like meat or beans will be ok also take a multi vitamin so your iron and stuff is ok.) all in all I think this place is average, I think if they had more staff on duty, the process would be faster for everyone, however, the place isn't that big and each person takes about 1 hour + to donate so it can't be sped up to much!

this place sucks, I dropped my wife off at 8 am finally at almost 3pm they call her back just to tell her that her blood pressure is too low to donate. On top[ if it all there staff is so retarded they can not find a zip code on a lease agreement. WOW what morons. they are lucky I was not with my wife.

I have donated at one other place and i have to say this one is way better, they were friendly, they are efficient, other than the freezing room temperature in the donation room (which is needed for health reasons) its perfect. I never haven't gotten dizzy or sick feeling like i did at the other place. I recomend this to anyone interested in a donation center. The pay (as of today) is $40 the first visit $60 the second, then after this you can make $50 a week, or $200 a month. The payout of the first 2 donations is better than most places. The next donation pay is pretty standard.

After having been a loyal donor to this center and only this center for over 5 years, An error with paperwork on the part of the person taking my yearly physical and their lack of ability to accept any responsibility in that error, they deferred me for life. I spoke with management in an effort to straighten things out as they had referred to me as a loyal donor many times in the past and I hadn't had a problem at any time previously, they refused. I believe this was in an effort to escape any responsability as well as their fear of drawing a possible audit. Now I will be a loyal donor to another local plasma center and will never refer or reccommend Talecris again.

Been going almost a year, twice a week. Very poor communication to donors. Most employees are very friendly. Expect to wait up to a hour and a half to get screened even with an appointment. Security guard is very demeaning and disrespectful towards the donors but management thinks he can't do any wrong. Fed up and ready to go somewhere else.

I have been donating twice a week for almost a year. I can tell you all staff members there are wonderful. Should you have any questions or a problem arises they address the issue immediately. I enjoy donating at this location.

I am a fairly new donor and obviously had alot of questions before donating...and heard lots of horror stories. Well I would like to add, that it has been far from a horrid experience. The staff is wonderful, effecient and have made my experience quite impressive and easy. Thanks Talecris staff!
