The staff was not professional, I would have felt better getting a tattoo at a frat party in the bathroom versus going back there. If I wanted high-school dropouts to stick needles in me I would have developed a heroin habit. I will never go back.

the quicker machines r nice. only one hour. but the peeps arent very friendly.and the bull about a piece of mail from 30 days is ridiculous. i had something from 32 days n they wouldnt accept it.

they can be very rude and disrespectful. i never cared much for their rule about not allowing children inside i had to wait outside in the cold at 5am one morning with my daughter who was infant at that time. one paticular girl who used to work there (might still) i called her peanut butter because she constantly stuck around my husband and ignored all other donors. i can understand them lowering their rates because of all the people donating now, but in general i do not recommend this one. my husband was actually deferred because he couldn't remember his exact release date from jail. They just are not a very professional place.

All I know is, I just went in today to ask about it. I'm a regular donor at 1st ave. I stood there ten minutes, just wanted to find out how much they pay. It was like I was invisible. I was right there, and this person was across the counter but said nothing to me.

you guys have to understand that they lowered the money you get because alot more people are donating and they are overflowing with plasma when they get low the price will go back up as far as the other plasma center on first avenue it sucks they only have 18 beds and the pay aint no different and u have to sit there and wait 4 to 5 hours even if your a regular donor plus they do not give you back your saline

I think that they need to give everyone more money. They are starting to make people want to go to the other center on first ave.
