I had an appointment today at 1:15. I arrived on time and completed the paperwork and blood testing process. I sat in the waiting area for over 30 minutes. 3 other people eventually joined me in the waiting area. All were called to donate before me. I have been donating for more than 30 years. I had to take time off of work today. Please take me off your donors list!

If you simply LOVE to help people, and YOU are a giving kind of person, come give the gift of LIFE at Grand Valley Blood Center!! The staff are always friendly, and it takes only a few minutes out of your time to save a persons life. Did you know 1 pint of blood can save 3-4 persons life? Alot of people have said to me, _oh, they dont want me blood,_ or the people are afraid of needles. THESE people are professionals. If you find a person you like, you can call ahead and ask if they are on for the day you are giving. Plus!! There are free cookies after ward!!!
