I have been going to the Fort Hill Plasma bank for 4 years now, I have gotten to know every one by name and they know me on a first name base. I am very happy with the service I receive and love the people that work there. They give extreme care to us all. Thank you! Rachel Lawhorne

Dear Lisa, due to your arm being sore for a day and half, do not let that scare u off. I have been going there for years and there has only been one or two times during that time my arm was sore. You may experience that on a rare occasion. Do not let the stop you from going back. Be sure to let them know they can offer suggestion to prevent that from happeing in the future. Sincerely, Rachel Lawhorne

I've been there alot, I usually go twice a week. my arm gets sore sometimes but im pretty sure that its because I use it 2x a week. The stick jobs are usually right on for me. I can do a full donation in about 50 minutes. the only time my arm stung is cuz they didnt get all the iodine off before they put the needle in. maybe i've just been the exception for 50 visits?

I have started going there from a friend to make some extra cash. Now I go there to read and to get extra money to feed my animals. Most of the people there are very friendly and are good at there job. There are time that you may not have the best vanes or they may rush to do it. You can always as for someone you trust to do it. If you are scared just let them know and they will try to help you. The only bad part is that it takes a long time. Just get a good book or a hand held game or you can watch tv or you can talk to the people around you or to the staff. Also make sure you drink a lot of water the day before.

Your probably just experiencing puncture site swelling because of the shoddy stick job, I would definitely apply ice and make sure it is not infected. I have donated twice both times have been at most boring and long because I have a weird body I guess, but the ones who have put the needle in have been ok.
