I now know that this place is at least one of the best run donation centers if not THE best in Virginia. I recently moved to SW Virginia near Galax and both the mobile donaton outfits and the building bound site in Blacksburg are run like a hobby. VERY limited hours. You must ask when given platelets to have the double tube in one arm or... you have to keep both arms still for an hour and ask to have someone hold a drink for you or scratch your nose. I may yet give again but not like I used to. This is a 50 mile drive to get second rate service for a GIFT.
