BioMat is a great donor center. The staff are friendly, and not uptight. As far as the metric requirements for each pre-screen- they are held to government standards and if you are off by even the slightest margin, you will be denied donating that day. It's not just their policy, it's the Government's, and no I do not work for BioMat nor the Government, but I don't like complaints at companies that are not warranted. There are a lot of people who come in to donate and limited donation beds, so I prepare for the wait.

I've been donating at Biomat for about 6 months now. Everytime I go there it takes about 45 minutes just to get processed, another 20 minutes waiting for a chair, and another 20 to get hooked up. I'm there for literally 3 hours AND THEY AREN_T EVEN BUSY, that is the worst part! I've gotten to the point where the money isn't even worth it anymore. I don't suggest this place at all.

I have been donating plasma at the sixth ave center off and on for almost 5 years. And I would have to say that I have been greeted helped and accomadated to the best of every employees ability. An expectation of a perfect visit with a perfect attitude with the busy rushes that they have every time is unreasonable. Also after reading some of the harsh comments previously left for such small misunderstandings justifies the so-called rudeness that was supposedly received. Great job guys keep up the good work!

When I walked in two days ago to make my appointment to donate. I misunderstood that I was supposed to eat a full meal before coming in, which I forgot, and instead of asking me if I ate when I came in, they made me sit an HOUR, then asked me. The employees are stupid.

It makes me mad when I drive 40 miles to give plasma, and they tell me some little something is off a number or two and I can't give that day.Instead of making 25 dollars that I need,I wouldn't have driven that far otherwise, I am out 10 bucks for gas. I know that have to have rules and such, but come-on, miss by one number. Please.
