I have alway been pleased with how Carter Blood Care takes care of their Donors. I have donated blood at the Plano on as well as the Addison. I remember the first time I gave blood I almost passed out and they were so fast at helping me so I wouldn't. I am an o+ donor and love that I get phone calls that remind me it is time to dontate again, with life being so busy I always forget when I can give again. Even when I had a bad experence with one of the wheel Carter Centers, they still called to check on me to make sure I was ok. I wouldn't go anywhere else to give blood. Thank you guys so much, for having Centers everywhere so that I can give blood whenever and thank you so much for having such an amazing staff that always helps donors.

I work for Carter BloodCare. In regards to the comments below: West Nile is not transmitted human to human and we test our donations for it. Many of our donor centers do not have lab and testing facilities on site and blood has to be picked up and transported within a certain amount of time for processing. If we accept donations before the center opens, we have to call and schedule an early pickup just for that donation and change the entire pickup schedule for that day and possibly risk losing units due to processing times expiring.

Long story short, the only people I have dealt with do not know what they are doing and need to stop assuming things of donors. I am not pleased with Carter Blood Care and I will now be donating blood for American Red Cross.

Apparently, their rules prevent them from accepting a donation 20 minutes before they officially open at 11:00 AM. I was in the neighborhood and stopped to donate. Went inside the manager Tany Smith said they have rules and cannot start to draw blood until after 11:00 AM. She also does not know who her supervisor is or how to contact them. She was unable to provide a name or phone number.

I love this donor center. I have been donating for a couple of years now and started here because it was near my home. I moved to the other side of plano and still drive all the way to the parker center because of the awesome staff!

I informed the tech that I had been confirmed to have \_west Nile virus\_ and was told that was not a disqualifer, there was not even a place on the form for it. I question that this was correct as the virus stays and never goes away. Please check this out.
