Operating under the the original name, Sacramento Medical foundation and grow from single blood bank beneath a water tower in Sacramento to one of the premier blood centers and blood research organizations in the world. In the growth and subsequent name change, has been the natural evolution of always doing what's right for the community. BloodSource is a committed to grow with the communities and to consistently provide a readily available, safe blood supply. They do what's right and meet the needs of patients, physicians, hospitals and donors. The BloodSource remain steadfast in the commitment to collect, test, process and deliver the safest and blood components whenever they need. They set a long range vision in 2002, to grow the organization to meet not only the needs of patients within the service area in Northern and Central California, but across the nation. Not only have been called upon to provide the service, and believe it is the right thing to do. |
