Aside from its blood collection, HVBS is also involved in bone marrow collections and also do autologous and directed blood for individuals facing surgery and other medical procedures. The Hudson Valley region covers roughly 9,500 square miles and serves approximately 40 hospitals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 90,000 life-saving products each year.
